每一个小单元，先给宝宝听音乐，然后爸爸妈妈打开书，同时打开朗诵的音频，在音频中朗读到某一个单词时候，就用手指着某个单词及其图案，这样子将声音图案和文字相结合，可以起到非常好的效果。
例如：在“the fruit stall”中，当朗读到bananas的时候，你可以指着香蕉并且多次重复，之后宝宝在印象中觉得那个样子的东西就是bananas。如此重复几次，要是家里的小区或者楼下有水果摊，到楼下看见了香蕉，并且指着香蕉，宝宝就会主动觉得是bananas。
