A 70 years old woman with bloody stool and constipation for 2 months was scheduled for laparoscopic right hemicolectomy. Past medical history: She has a long list of comorbidities, which include: hypothyroidism, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) on 2 L/min home O2 for 2 years (mainly used during the night). She quitted smoking 3 weeks ago. Diabetes mellitus (DM) type 2, hyperlipidemia, hypertension (HTN), peripheral vascular disease (PVD) with a fem-fem bypass surgery 6 years ago, coronary artery disease (CAD) for 10 years, myocardial infarction (MI) 2 times in the past. She had CABG with 3 vessels graft 6 years ago, and 3 drug eluting stents (DES) 2 years ago.
